Codman Square NDC was one of only a few national recipients of Met Life’s highly competitive Community Development Initiative Award, which focuses on helping community-based groups expand affordable housing and economic development in their communities. The $35,000 Met Life grant will be used to support the development of 55 new units of transit-oriented housing along the Fairmount Line, and to provide foreclosure prevention counseling to 200 homeowners, preventing 50 from losing their homes
