CSNDC’s First-Time Homebuyer Education is your opportunity to get on a pathway to affordable and sustainable homeownership.
The April 2026 workshop will be our first in-person class since 2019. It will be held at 86 Southern Avenue in Dorchester on April 13, 14 and 15 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm.
This training will cover:
- An overview of the homebuying process
- The role of budget and credit
- The mortgage application process
- Top ten questions you should ask your home inspector
- Why work with a real estate agent
- Why you need your own real estate attorney
- How to shop for home insurance
- The responsibilities of homeownership
The cost is $30 for individuals; $50 for couples. Registration closes the Friday before the first session.
