The second is the “Women of Courage and Conviction” award from the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), given to Gail at a luncheon ceremony at Venezia Restaurant in Dorchester on April 26. This award was given by the Boston Chapter of the NCNW in recognition of Gail’s decades of service to the Dorchester and Boston community, citing the body of work Gail has accomplished in her 31-years at CSNDC.
‘I am moved and honored to receive these awards,” said Gail. “It means a lot to be recognized by my peers in Boston and across the country. The work I do to improve lives and economic wellbeing in the Dorchester/Boston community is made possible with the strong support of CSNDC staff, Board and my wonderful colleagues in here in Boston and throughout the country. Thank you for this recognition!”
